When patients ask us about skin tightening after weight loss, the conversation inevitably turns to which treatment is best. Our answer is that no single treatment is best on its own, because post-weight-loss skin changes occur at multiple depths that no single device can optimally address. To understand why the combination works, you need to understand what each device does at a structural level. Your skin has distinct layers, each with its own function and each affected differently by weight loss and aging.
Sofwave targets the mid-dermis at a depth of 1.5mm using SUPERB ultrasound technology.
