The Reveal

Booking your first appointment at a new clinic can feel uncertain, especially when you are not sure what the visit will involve. We want to remove that uncertainty completely. Here is a detailed walkthrough of what happens during a Reveal Assessment at Rani Beauty Clinic, from the moment you arrive to the moment you leave.

The Reveal Assessment typically takes 30 to 45 minutes. It is a consultation, not a treatment session. You will not receive any treatments during this visit unless you specifically request it and time allows. The purpose is evaluation, education, and planning.

When you arrive at our clinic at 401 Olympia Ave NE in Renton, you will be greeted at the front desk and asked to complete a brief intake form if you have not already done so online. The form covers your basic medical history, current medications, allergies, and skin care routine. If you are a current GLP-1 patient, we will ask about your medication, dosage, weight loss timeline, and current weight stability.

You will then be brought to a consultation room where your provider will begin by listening. We want to hear about your concerns in your own words. What bothers you most about your skin? What are you hoping to achieve? What has your experience been like since your weight loss? This conversation is important because it helps us understand not just the clinical picture but your personal priorities and expectations.

Next comes the skin evaluation. Your provider will examine your skin systematically, assessing several specific factors. Skin laxity is evaluated by the degree of sagging and loss of contour in the face, neck, and any body areas of concern. Skin quality is assessed by examining texture, thickness, hydration, pore size, and surface irregularities. Collagen density is evaluated by the skin's firmness and its ability to snap back when gently displaced. We also note any asymmetries, areas of sun damage, or pre-existing conditions that might affect treatment planning.

After the evaluation, your provider will explain what they observed and how it connects to the concerns you described. This is the education component. We believe that patients who understand what is happening in their skin make better decisions about their treatment. We will explain the two-layer concept, describe how collagen stimulation works, and discuss which treatments address which specific concerns.

Then we build the plan together. Based on the evaluation, your provider will recommend a specific Reveal tier, Essential, Signature, or Complete, and outline the recommended treatment sequence. This includes the number of sessions, the spacing between them, the approximate timeline, and the expected investment. We present options, not ultimatums. If the recommended plan exceeds your budget, we can discuss phased approaches or alternative starting points that still produce meaningful results.

You will receive a written summary of your plan that includes everything discussed: the assessment findings, the recommended protocol, the timeline, and the pricing. This is yours to take home, review, and discuss with anyone you want before making a decision. There is no pressure to book treatment on the spot, though many patients do choose to schedule their first session before leaving.

If you have photos from before your weight loss or from earlier in the process, bring them. Seeing where you started helps us understand the full scope of your transformation and calibrate our recommendations accordingly.

The Reveal Assessment is complimentary and carries no obligation. It is an opportunity for you to get professional insight into your skin and understand your options. We would rather spend 30 minutes with you and have you leave informed, even if you decide not to proceed, than have you make a decision without complete information.

To schedule your Reveal Assessment, call (425) 539-4440 or book through our website. We look forward to meeting you.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Common Questions

Yes, the Reveal Assessment is complimentary. It is a 30 to 45 minute consultation where we evaluate your skin, discuss your concerns, and build a personalized treatment plan. There is no obligation to proceed with treatment after your assessment.

We recommend coming with clean skin, free of heavy makeup if possible, so we can accurately assess your skin condition. If you have photos from before your weight loss or from earlier stages, bring those as well. Also bring a list of any current medications and skincare products you use regularly.

The Reveal Assessment is a consultation, not a treatment session. We focus on evaluation, education, and planning. If you decide you want to begin treatment and time allows, we may be able to accommodate your first session the same day, but this is not the expectation. Most patients schedule their first treatment for a separate visit.
